Purpose of personal data processing
The Administrator processes Users’ personal data in order to:
- Provide preliminary information and advice connected with the possibility of obtaining Polish citizenship or perform genealogical research – in connection with the necessity of undertaking actions ordered by the User;
- Provide services for the User in connection with the necessity of undertaking actions commissioned by the User and for execution of the agreement to which the User is a party. The legal basis for the processing of the User’s personal data in the cases specified in points 1 and 2 is Article 6 par. 1 lit. b GDPR (processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with the party to which the data refer, or to take action at the request of that party prior to entering into a contract) and Art. 6 par. 1 lit. c GDPR (the processing is necessary for the fulfillment of a legal obligation incumbent on the controller);
- Maintain contact with the User – the legal basis for processing in this case is the legitimate interest of Five to Europe, expressed in art. 6 par. 1 lit. f. GDPR (processing is necessary for the purposes arising from the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party);
- Issue invoices, processing claims – in connection with the necessity to fulfil all the legally prescribed duties incumbent on the administrator and to perform tasks in the public interest, among others to perform tasks related to the storage of tax records;
- Promotion of Five to Europe activities – the legal basis for processing in this case is the legally justified interest of Five to Europe;
- Possibly to determine the investigation or defense against claims – the legal basis for processing in this case is the legally justified interest of Five to Europe.
Data Type
The Administrator processes the following personal user data, the provision of which is necessary to fill out the contact form in order to provide preliminary information and advice on the possibility of obtaining Polish citizenship or performing genealogical research:
- name and surname;
- email address;
- contact phone;
- place of residence;
- information about ancestors and relatives.
The Administrator processes the above mentioned data also when the User contacts the Administrator directly via email, phone, profiles on social networking sites facebook.com, www.linkedin.com, www.instagram.com, www.youtube.com, as well as mobile applications of these sites.
The Administrator processes personal data only after obtaining the User’s prior consent expressed by completing and submitting the contact form, as well as by sending the aforementioned data via email, telephone and our profiles on the aforementioned social networks.
The consent for the processing of personal data is completely voluntary.
User's rights
The User may at any time request information from the Administrator about the scope of processing of personal data, including obtaining a copy of the data.
The User may at any time request rectification or correction of his personal data.
The User may at any time request erasure of his personal data.
The User may at any time request restriction of processing of his personal data
The User has the right to object to the processing of their personal data;
The User may at any time revoke his/her consent to the processing of his/her personal data by Five to Europe on the basis of his/her consent without affecting the legality of the processing performed by Five to Europe before its revocation;
The User shall have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority, which in Poland is the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
Entrusting data processing to other entities
The Administrator may entrust the processing of Users’ personal data to other entities authorized to obtain information on the basis of legal regulations, which shall submit a request for such information based on an appropriate legal basis.
In connection with the realization of the purpose of processing, the Administrator may make User personal data available to entities providing the following services for Five to Europe: hosting services (making server space available), IT services, legal advisory services and legal representation, postal services, banking services, accounting services.
The Administrator may transfer the User’s personal data to a third country or an international organization. Many countries have laws and regulations that allow the Administrator to transfer personal data internationally only if the receiving country has established equivalent mechanisms to adequately protect the personal data.
The Administrator is committed to ensuring the protection of the User’s personal data. Accordingly, the Administrator will establish contractual clauses and procedures between entities outside the European Union for the protection of the User’s personal data (i.e. the United States, Australia, and the United Kingdom) on the basis of which those entities will comply with all applicable requirements, as well as implement appropriate procedures and safeguards before and during the physical or electronic international transfer of the User’s personal data.
Length of processing of personal data
The Administrator processes User’s personal data as long as the purposes of the processing are fulfilled and afterwards at least until the expiry of the limitation period for any possible claims.
